We manage the entire process, from creating sample packages for evaluation, to responding to feedback. We work with the goal to make your evaluation and submission process smooth and reliable.
OUR PROCESS
Producing XML for PubMed Central
Our team of experts works with STM publishers to convert journal article PDFs into PMC-compliant XML, supporting you during the technical evaluation in the setup process. We produce a sample package set for an initial 25 articles for NLM’s evaluation, upload and monitor progress for success, and address responses from the evaluation process.
01
Conversion
We convert your PDFs to PMC-compliant XML, and extract the images from your manuscripts for submission.
02
Validation
We validate the XML using PMC XML Validator and Style Checker, and then run a quality check with PMC Reviewer.
03
Submission
We create a submission package for the article or issue, which is then uploaded to PMC.
04
Monitoring & Support
We track the submission, resupplying updated files in case of failure, and make sure you are kept in the loop.
