Copy Editor/Language Editor
About the role
TNQTech is looking for a copy editor or a language editor to join our growing team of people working to redefine content and technology in the scholarly publishing landscape. In this freelance role, you’ll work to deliver manuscripts that are edited as per journal/publisher style guides, while maintaining a high standard of work.
Responsibilities
- Edit books and journal articles for spelling, grammar, syntax, usage, punctuation, clarity, and consistency, and rephrase sentences as needed
- Edit articles as per the journal’s and/or publisher’s expectations and deliver error-free work
The ideal candidate
- An editor with experience in editing STM journals/books, who possesses excellent verbal and written English skills, an eye for detail, and a proficiency with MS Word
- Someone with a passion for reading, editing, and learning, who can contribute 4 working hours a day
